Settlement with NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)

Wallace Farm, Inc., Huntersville, NC

Wallace Farm is pleased to announce that it has reached a mediated settlement with the NC DENR over two alleged Notice of Violations and one alleged compliance order.

After extensive litigation, this time consuming matter has been resolved. We are putting the matter behind us. We are devoting our time and resources on the future and its opportunities.

There are no findings that Wallace Farm violated any law or regulation. There are no assessed penalties.

We will continue to work with DENR, Mecklenburg County, and our neighbors as we work to make our part of planet earth greener and our community a good place to work and live.

Seven generations have farmed and worked on this land. We will continue this heritage of protecting the land for future generations.
